We would like to thank the City of Southwest Ranches for holding a Wacky Socks Day fundraiser on World Down Syndrome Day, March 21st. The city employees made a donation to wear their wacky socks to work to show support for the Down syndrome community. We were presented with a check at the May Council meeting, and then given another $300 donation on the spot! We thank you for supporting our DS community and look forward to our partnership with the City of Southwest Ranches in the future!

A Special Miracle founders Tressa Rebek-Nagy & Marlena Roland along with our Children’s Group Coordinator, Patricia Garland, are excited to work together to continue visiting families of newborn babies with Down Syndrome and/or new families moving to our South Florida area! If you meet someone with a Down syndrome individual in their family, please share their information with us, so we can congratulate them and offer our support with private and government service information.
