Thank you to Sandra Seiden and Personal Ponies for their in-kind donation for our Step Up 4 Down Syndrome 2023 Walk!
Personal Ponies Ltd., Inc. is part of a unique national 501(c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to providing pony visits to hospitals, schools with exceptional education programs, nursing homes, veteran hospitals, and learning centers such as EASTER SEALS AND ARC- anywhere our ponies special touch is needed.
Personal Ponies also provides site “farm” visits to groups such as JARC and Gold Coast Down Syndrome Association which enables them to spend special “Therapeutic Pony Time”. Almost every day of the year, children of all ages with special needs benefit from individual sessions at a 5-acre private farm located in Boca Raton, FL.

A special shout-out to I Can Living & Learning Center for not only renewing as a Sponsor, but for upgrading to a Silver Sponsorship! We appreciate your generosity and your continued support of the Step Up 4 Down Syndrome 2023 Walk and the Broward Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization!
I Can Living and Learning Center helps individuals with disabilities to secure suitable employment. The Employment Specialists help our participants learn how to do the following: identify an employment goal, properly complete an employment application, prepare a resume, prepare for an interview, utilize appropriate job search methods and, most importantly, help maintain employment.
I Can Living and Learning Center looks to form partnerships within the local community to help facilitate the hiring process. The Employment Specialist is dedicated to meeting the needs of our participants who are looking for meaningful jobs and assisting employers to find reliable and capable employees. By securing positions for these individuals, we help to change their lives as well as help fill open positions in our local community.

Thank you, Walmart Supercenter #1916 & Walmart Supercenter #2963!

We want to send a big thank you to two local Walmart Supercenters, one in Coral Springs and the other in Coconut Creek! Both stores chose our organization to be one of the recipients of their Walmart Community Grant! Each year we must apply to receive one of these grants that are giving to local organizations to help off-set some of the cost of their needs. These grants help the Broward Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization continue our Mission. We appreciate the support and generosity we have received from these two Walmart Supercenters!

Thank you, Jon Robinson, and Plantation Rock & Brews!

At the Open House Ribbon Cutting of our new Plantation office, Jon Robinson, the Plantation Rock & Brews General Manager, came by to welcome us to the neighborhood, and provide us with a couple of Rock & Brews delicious appetizers! He set everything up, including yellow and blue stools for our members, served with a smile, and was overall a pleasure to have as a sponsor! We appreciate the donation of your refreshments, and the care you took with our Members. We look forward to eating at your establishment and working with you in the future!
