Thank you to our Cosplay friends, the 501st Legion: Everglades Squad who have made their appearance every year for our SU4DS Walk! This group attends dressed in full Star Wars garb, ready to take pictures with their fans! They are a wonderful addition to our event, and we appreciate the time these volunteers take to be with us! As a mother of four, my days revolve around my children’s activities and our family business. I’m passionate about sharing my experiences as a mother of special needs, and these cherished books about Liz are a way to convey it all. Thank you to Sandra Seiden and Personal Ponies for their in-kind donation for our Step Up 4 Down Syndrome 2023 Walk!
Personal Ponies Ltd., Inc. is part of a unique national 501(c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to providing pony visits to hospitals, schools with exceptional education programs, nursing homes, veteran hospitals, and learning centers such as EASTER SEALS AND ARC- anywhere our ponies special touch is needed.
Personal Ponies also provides site “farm” visits to groups such as JARC and Gold Coast Down Syndrome Association which enables them to spend special “Therapeutic Pony Time”. Almost every day of the year, children of all ages with special needs benefit from individual sessions at a 5-acre private farm located in Boca Raton, FL.

I Can Living and Learning Center helps individuals with disabilities to secure suitable employment. The Employment Specialists help our participants learn how to do the following: identify an employment goal, properly complete an employment application, prepare a resume, prepare for an interview, utilize appropriate job search methods and, most importantly, help maintain employment.
I Can Living and Learning Center looks to form partnerships within the local community to help facilitate the hiring process. The Employment Specialist is dedicated to meeting the needs of our participants who are looking for meaningful jobs and assisting employers to find reliable and capable employees. By securing positions for these individuals, we help to change their lives as well as help fill open positions in our local community.
