Day 1 of October Down Syndrome Awareness Month! We are celebrating people with Down syndrome by sharing our local individuals with Down syndrome every day this month with their stories. Help spread awareness, acceptance, and meaningful inclusion in schools an community!
“Stephen is 28 years old. He loves to swim and compete in Special Olympics. He also competes in Golf, basketball and soccer. He loves listening to live music and enjoys being with family and friends. He works at the Boca Habilitation program where he tends to the nursery and helps keep the flowers blooming. He loves working there and all the great friends he has met. We are proud of Stephen and we know that he has made our lives so much better. As well as the many people he has come across in his life. Our lives are so much better with him in it!!!” Patty Morgan
