Day 6 of October Down Syndrome Awareness Month! We are celebrating people with Down syndrome by sharing our local individuals with Down syndrome every day this month with their stories. Help spread awareness, acceptance, and meaningful inclusion in schools and community!
Marcia Roland is an 8th grade student at the Randazzo School. She has 4 siblings and she loves sports, singing, and dancing. Marcia enjoys reading and working on crossword puzzles in her spare time. She is also part of a non-profit organization with her best friend Alex, called ASM (A Special Miracle). This organization is to help uplift families with children with disabilities.
